No! You receive a free CO₂ cylinder with your set. For added convenience, you can order additional cylinders now or later and have them delivered to your home. But this is not mandatory. Once your cylinder is empty, you can go to your preferred drugstore or supermarket, return it as a deposit, and get a new one. Typically, when you exchange an empty cylinder as a deposit, you only pay around €6 - €10 for a new one.

With a full CO₂ cylinder, you can fill the carboniser integrated in the bottle approx. 10 times. With a full carboniser, you can produce up to 10 bottles of sparkling water, i.e. 6 litres. This results in a total of 60 litres of sparkling water.

Generally yes, although when carbonating beverages other than water foam is formed. The strength of the foam formation varies depending on the beverage. After each use of the spark bottle with beverages other than water, it must be cleaned thoroughly, including removing and cleaning the sealing elements on the carboniser and the lid.
