Viel Spass mit der Schritt-für-Schritt Videoanleitung
Step 1/5: Screw the CO2 cylinder tightly into the refill station.
This requires a bit more force compared to other water carbonators. Nothing can break, so screw it in with full force until the cylinder is firmly in place.
Step 2/5: Firmly press the bottle down on the station for 10-15 seconds.
You will hear the sound of CO2 flowing; after about 10-15 seconds, it will weaken and then stop. The carboniser is now fully filled and weighs approximately 280g (without the bottle).
Step 3/5: Fill the bottle with water.
Fill the bottle only up to the recommended level (about 1 cm below the point where the curve of the bottle shoulder begins). Then screw the cap on tightly until it stops.
Step 4/5: Press the carboniser button until the pressure relief activates.
Hold the bottle upright while doing this. Note that the pressure button has two phases – it’s important to press firmly beyond the first stop. You will hear the CO2 flow into the bottle. Keep the button pressed until the pressure relief activates, which is noticeable as hissing sound from the cap.
Step 5/5: Shake the bottle thoroughly.
Like a cocktail shaker! Afterward, either repeat step 4 for stronger sparkling water or carefully open the bottle.

Please check if the bottle has been damaged, especially the cap and the carbonizer. If you're unsure, please contact us and send us pictures so we can assess whether the cap and/or carbonizer need to be replaced. For self-assessment, you can find guidance including images here in our Help Center.

Clean the bottle regularly with a mild dish soap and a soft cloth or kitchen sponge. Dry the bottle thoroughly and avoid leaving it damp for extended periods to prevent limescale buildup. If limescale has formed, carefully remove it using vinegar or lemon juice.

1. Ensure that the CO2 cylinder is firmly screwed into the refill station. This requires a bit more force compared to other water carbonators. Don’t worry, nothing will break - use full force to screw it in until the cylinder is firmly in place.
2. Firmly press the spark bottle downward until you hear the CO2 flowing (a kind of squeaking sound). Once you hear the flow, continue holding the bottle down with force until the sound gradually weakens and disappears. This takes about 10-15 seconds, and the carboniser (without the bottle body) should then weigh approximately 280g.
3. If the CO2 doesn’t flow, try moving the bottle slightly to different sides while pressing it down until you find a position where it works.

The sealing ring in the cap may not be positioned correctly, causing the pressure relief to activate too early. Remove the sealing ring (video tutorial here) and reinsert it according to this image guide in the Help Center. If you follow the points below afterward, you should achieve strong sparkling water: 1. Do not overfill the bottle; Fill only up to the recommended level. See the videos above for guidance. 2. Screw the cap on tightly: Ensure the cap is screwed on fully until it stops. 3. Press the button long enough: Press the carboniser button until you hear the pressure relief. This takes 3-10 seconds, depending on how firmly you press the button. You will recognize the pressure relief by the hissing sound coming from the cap. 4. Shake the bottle: After hearing the hissing sound, shake the bottle firmly (like a cocktail shaker). 5. Repeat the process: Press the carboniser button again until the pressure relief activates, and shake the bottle firmly once more.

If it is leaking at the top, you have likely overfilled the bottle (beyond the recommended fill level, see the video above). Alternatively, the sealing ring in the cap may not be positioned correctly. Remove the sealing ring (video tutorial here) and reinsert it according to this image guide in the Help Center.
If it is leaking between the bottle body and the carboniser, check if the sealing ring on the carboniser is correctly positioned. If it is missing, too small, or damaged, please contact us at hello@bottleplus.com.
