If you don't hear a flowing sound, the filling process is not working. This can have two causes:

- Either the CO2 cylinder is not screwed tightly enough into the refill station.

- Or, you are not pressing the bottle down firmly enough on the refill station.

When you press the bottle down firmly on the refill station for 10-15 seconds, the flowing sound will first decrease and then disappear. The carboniser is then fully filled.

1. Fill the bottle to the recommended fill level (where the curve of the bottle shoulder begins) and screw the lid on tightly until it is fully closed.

2. Hold the bottle upright and press the carboniser button firmly so you can hear the CO2 flowing into the bottle. Keep the button pressed until you hear the overpressure release, which sounds like a slight "blowing off." It takes 5-20 seconds for the overpressure release to activate, depending on how strongly you press the carboniser button.

3. Now shake the bottle vigorously to make the water sparklier.

4. Carefully open the lid, or if you want stronger sparkling water, you can press the button again.

This can have various causes:

- You are not pressing the carboniser button long enough (until you hear the overpressure release, a slight "blowing off").

- You are not shaking the bottle afterwards or not shaking it long/vigorously enough.

- You have not screwed the lid onto the bottle tightly enough (causing the overpressure release to activate too early).

As the carboniser gradually empties, you will notice that the carboniser button requires less force to press. Additionally, the flowing sound of the CO2 will become weaker, and it will take longer for the overpressure release to activate.

If it is leaking from the top, you have overfilled the bottle (beyond the recommended fill level, as shown in the video). If it is leaking from the bottom, the carboniser is not screwed on tightly enough to the bottle. Make sure the logo and the push button are aligned properly.

This happens because friction is created when attaching the carboniser. To minimize friction, apply a drop of olive oil to the bottle threads and spread it around a bit.
