FAQ
Preferably here online with us. You can also buy the cylinders in most larger supermarkets.
All common 60L/400-425g cylinders with the standard thread type "TR 21x4" are compatible.
With a full CO2 cylinder you can fill the in the bottle integrated carboniser about 10 times. Up to 10 bottles of sparkling water, i.e. 6 liters, can be produced with a full carboniser. In total, this results in 60 liters of sparkling water.
As strong as you like it! We recommend 1-3 carbonation cycles. A carbonation cycle works as follows: You press the carboniser button until you hear a hissing sound. Now shake the bottle for a few seconds and if you want, you can then start with another carbonation cycle.
Your spark bottle weighs 460g in total. The weight of the carboniser is 250g, which is more or less equal to the weight of a smartphone. Since bottleplus is made of aluminum, a light metal, it's only about 150g heavier than "normal" stainless steel bottles of similar sizes. still bottle weighs 262g in total.
No, you do not have to connect the refilling station to electricity, it works without.
If you listen carefully, you can hear the sound of the CO2 flowing. As soon as the noise disappears, the carboniser is full. Alternatively, you can also count to 5 or 6.
Generally yes, although foam formation is to be expected. However, a representative series of tests on our end is still pending, which is why we cannot make any promises at this point. However, the bottles are designed in such a way that the sealing rings can be easily removed and thus, like the rest of the bottle, easily cleaned.
You can not clean the carboniser (unscrewable adapter at the base of the bottle) in the dishwasher. The body of the bottle is unproblematic with regard to the inner coating, however, representative tests are still pending for the outer coating. Thanks to the large bottle opening on the bottom, you can easily clean the bottle by hand anyway.
According to official regulations, CO2 cartridges/tanks are listed as prohibited items in both hand baggage and checked baggage. That's why you're unfortunately not allowed to take bottleplus with you when you travel by plane.
The development of bottleplus has been completed, at the moment we are working on the transition to mass production. In this regard, several tests are currently ongoing and various molds and tools are in production.
Our goal is to have the mass production setup ready in April 2023. If we succeed in this, we can produce a first small batch and use it to do the product certification. We then want to produce the first large batch and hope to enter the market and ship pre-ordered products in June 2023.
We produce in Switzerland and Germany.
We ship to Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
From an order value of 99 Euro/Francs, shipping is free for you. Below that, shipping to Germany and Austria costs EUR 4.90 and to Switzerland CHF 7.90.
No, there are no customs fees for shipping to all three countries.
We are doing our best to be able to deliver in June - if there are any delays, you can decide whether you want to be patient with us or cancel your order.
Yes, you can cancel your pre-order at any time.
